Holly Hatlewick is the district administrator of Renville County Soil and Water Conservation District. She received an AAS degree from Minnesota West Community & Technical College for Soil & Water Conservation and a bachelor's degree from SMSU in Environmental Studies. Holly worked at the NRCS as a Soil and District Conservationist in Southern Minnesota and South Dakota for 15 years before joining the Renville SWCD in 2016. Holly has expertise in livestock grazing systems, no-till and strip till farming, cover crops, and easement management.

Resource Conservationist

Kyle Richter was hired September 11, 2020 as the Water Resource Technician. Kyle graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Southwest Minnesota State University in the fall of 2020. He interned with the Yellow Medicine SWCD in the summer of 2020. Kyle primarily works with the Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program, Reinvest In Minnesota program, Wetland Conservation Act, and various state cost share programs. Contact him for any wildlife evaluations, management for conservation easements, or erosion mitigation.

Conservation District Staff

Renville County SWCD staff are here to provide financial and technical assistance for the management of agricultural resources to landowners, cities, and townships. We assist landowners with many different conservation needs.
